I currently have 31" Dick Cepek's on and they are causing a bit of a rub, plus I had a major incident with a dune about a year back that's caused the suspension to be a bit wonky. I'm now looking at replacing the suspension, but want to lift the Jeep about 2-3".

The leaves have a greater arch than stock and that has contributed to axle wrap (on pavement)that I didn't notice prior to locking the rear diff. But its a combination of add a leafs, spacers, short arms, etc....it rides well, but if you use the quick disconnects, the front coils will pop free when you twist it up, and the add a leaf is installed so that its longer than the leaf above it.
Web13 mar 2016 · 4 1/2" is a lot of lift for a TC drop to to cure any vibrations. A Slip Yoke Eliminator is the recommended cure. Another cure is to install tapered shims between the rear axle and springs if you want to keep the TC drop. If you do the SYE and get rid of the TC drop it should cure your shifting issue. Yes, you CAN use a transfer case drop but that is a TEMPORARY solution, and shouldn't be wheeled hard with one.
