I know my new Softopper came with a brush on waterproofing solution for all the areas that were sewed and would be exposed to the rain. You basically just coat the underside of the threads and it seals them up. No problems since I installed it with leaks. knock on wood. I purchased it new in 2007 and love everything about it except for this one issue. Any time it rains I can be assured that my Jeep is soaked.. the seats, floor, door sides, everything is wet.
