It is a bit pricey, however we replaced an 18 year old GE Profile cooktop with this unit. Easy to operate and lights easily. I did have to re-configure the duct work for the downdraft exhaust because the duct that is a part of the unit hangs much lower than the outlet duct which leads to the outside of the house.
