WebThe Issues: THere is a password on the bios that has been forgotten by the previous owner. The Bios settings have been changed to not allow booting form USB. Wireless, and camera have also been disabled. The Good news: The rest of the computer is fully functional. I have found workarounds for the main issues. WebWhen buying used computers, esp., laptops always check the BIOS/UEFI for a password as soon as you get the machine. You cannot remove them if you do not know the password. Some would simply suggest removing the CMOS battery but that doesn't work with laptops and other mobile devices.
