WebSep 26, 2024 · The first is the price!! It is much cheaper than Dulux Trade. The second is the quality, which in vinyl matt is way better than it’s Dulux counterpart. It may not perform as well as far as opacity goes, but the sheen level and overall finish are much better. Armstead is one of my favorite emulsion paints on the market and I use it regularly.

WebJul 4, 2007 · The thing with bathroom/kitchen paint is it always has a shine to it, and funny enough similar properties that are in the bathroom/kitchen paint you will find in silk paint, again shiny.:eek: I am not telling you to use matt, or not to use kit/bath paint, but I can honestly say 99% of the bathrooms and kitchens I paint I use a good quality matt. WebAug 3, 2005 · I disagree with Zampa - Vinyl matt is not suitable for a bathroom. Use silk, acrylic eggshell (better) or dulux diamond matt. Why not?....as long as there isnt a lot of condensation,. 90% of the bathrooms or kitchens I do have matt as silk isnt fashionable at the moment, and I have never had a come back.
